Apple cider vinegar, fondly known as ACV, has been buzzing around the health world for ages, touted as a magical cure-all for everything from weight loss to glowing skin. But is it all just hype, or is there some truth to the tang? Kofuku is one the case!
ACV is made from fermented apples. The process involves crushing apples, adding water and yeast, and allowing the mixture to ferment. During this process, the sugars in the apples are all converted into alcohol, and then bacteria convert the alcohol into acetic acid, the main component of vinegar. Thus, we get ACV!
